What's Your Story - Leo Velles

Answers: Leo Velles
Introduction and Captions: Leo Velles (and TBD)

Leo is apparently a lion, but looks more like a mouse to me.

It's always nice to have new people discover our blog, but rather than introduce Leo myself, I'll let him introduce himself...

Hi guys, I just discovered your blog looking for The Dagger of Amon Ra reviews, which i recently played, and I enjoyed very much the playthrough you did in that game, so i´m looking forward to read every playthrough on your blog, even those of the games i didn´t play. I am now playing all the classic point & click games i can get my hands on, starting with those available on Scumvm.

My home country is…Argentina
I never would have guessed that one of the most popular tourist attractions in Argentina is a glacier!

My age is…42

The first adventure game I played was…Maniac Mansion on a Commodore 64 back in 1989

My favourite adventure game is…The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Serrated Scalpel
We agree with your choice. It's the fourth highest rated game we've done!

When I’m not playing games I like to…Listen to music (hard rock & heavy metal)

I like my games in (a box, digital format)…box

The thing I miss about old games is…the time when there where no walkthroughs available at a single click.

The best thing about modern games is…graphics and voice acting

The one TV show I never miss is…Lost
I assume Leo's referring to the 2001 reality show that was cancelled after 3 episodes

If I could see any band live it would be…Opeth/Anathema/My Dying Bride

My favourite movie is…Pulp Fiction/The Godfather I/The Bicycle Thief

One interesting thing about me is…I´m a terrible dancer

  1. I should probably fill one of these out at some point, since I've been around for a few months...

  2. Hey i just saw this today. The thing is, since i discover this blog i`ve started to read every single playthrough from 1977´s Adventure and continue chronologically (i´m now in Larry 2, so i got tons of good stuff to go on) but that means i didn´t read any new entry. I guess i am a little bit of a OCD guy just like Joe. Anyways, i love this blog, it`s tons of fun and i will try to be a more active commentator in the future (maybe starting from Rex Nebular, which i played eons ago. I never played Castle of Dr. Brain or Putt Putt). Great to be one more argie around here, i wonder how many of us we are. I guess i have now 20 shiny CAPs in my inventory to carefully spend or bet in the future. ¡Yay!
PS: Thanks TBD for the Elaine gif, it made my day

Note Regarding Spoilers and Companion Assist Points: There's a set of rules regarding spoilers and companion assist points. Please read it here before making any comments that could be considered a spoiler in any way. The short of it is that no points will be given for hints or spoilers given in advance of the reviewer requiring one. Please...try not to spoil any part of the game...unless they really obviously need the help...or they specifically request assistance.

If this is a game introduction post: This is your opportunity for readers to bet 10 CAPs (only if they already have them) that the reviewer won't be able to solve a puzzle without putting in an official Request for Assistance: remember to use ROT13 for betting. If you get it right, you will be rewarded with 50 CAPs in return.
It's also your chance to predict what the final rating will be for the game. Voters can predict whatever score they want, regardless of whether someone else has already chosen it. All score votes and puzzle bets must be placed before the next gameplay post appears. The winner will be awarded 10 CAPs.
