I always loved graphic adventures, but I can't tell you how many times I abandoned them because they were so unwieldy or frustrating. You've got some dedication, I'm glad everything on my list is at least decent... I think.BacklogKillerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00638617207043621777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-60529138800991337972012-03-11T05:21:46.440+11:002012-03-11T05:21:46.440+11:00Somewhat ironic to find guess-the-verbs in a graph...Somewhat ironic to find guess-the-verbs in a graphic adventure.Ilmari Jauhiainenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01655841880034965950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-84091094880264397742012-03-11T02:39:59.681+11:002012-03-11T02:39:59.681+11:00So what you are saying is that The Trickster would...So what you are saying is that The Trickster would post faster if she had a hot women in leather stand behind him lashing him with a whip while he plays?Canageekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03770924810559440307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-27333225344010019512012-03-11T01:07:39.928+11:002012-03-11T01:07:39.928+11:00I feel like this game would respond well to an upd...I feel like this game would respond well to an update. Collapse a bunch of options into Use, update the interface, clean up the translation, add a few hints, clarify, some of the game logic, and you probably have a good adventure game.killias2https://www.blogger.com/profile/00398131197947456691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-12338213719836241972012-03-09T21:54:43.985+11:002012-03-09T21:54:43.985+11:00I was about 14 when I played this game for the fir...I was about 14 when I played this game for the first time, back then we didn't have an online community, rather a schoolyard :).
This game is indeed unforgiving, but I think the idea behind this is that the designers didn't want players to just try stuff and go pixel hunting.
I agree the result is very frustrating...
The English version of the scroll seems easier to understand than the French one, so I'm confident your next post will announce your victory :)daubeurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05977102362905924677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-24767723393578788932012-03-09T20:10:02.853+11:002012-03-09T20:10:02.853+11:00Wow, this game seems sadistic.
