I like them both for different reasons. I also agree that the EGA version of Hero's Quest was far better than the VGA. I actually think that most of the VGA upgrades they did weren't as good as the EGA versions. Off the top of my head, the only upgrade I prefer over the original was the Kings Quest upgrade to EGA SCI from AGI.The Mad Gamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00736746369249632822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-17538181611292401972012-12-18T18:34:29.780+11:002012-12-18T18:34:29.780+11:00It's been 20 years now since I last played Col...It's been 20 years now since I last played Colonel's Bequest. I'll play again when you'll start.Looking forward to see it in EGA! Even if I had a CGA computer, I remember playing the game in black and white, I don't know why.<br />My father took a picture of me when I was 12, in front of my AMSTRAD PC1512, at night, wraped in my blanket with the red (CGA..) SIERRA logo on the screen during the introduction of SPACE QUEST III. Also a fantastic game!Jean-Jacqueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18216410778051206454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-44548448456711830642012-12-18T16:57:03.693+11:002012-12-18T16:57:03.693+11:00I have to agree... Sure the graphics and sound are updated, but the interface and responses seem much more fitting to the environment. Still very fun, but after playing both I prefer the EGA, even after all these years.Zenic Reveriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16441583549326102945noreply@blogger.com
