With a small child around its a great alternative to swear words!

I'm continuously amazed that this game seems to predate the Robin Hood game that used the same engine - even at the time I thought Rome was the sequel - it is so much more advanced in many ways. The Adventures of Robin Hood has none of the RTS stuff this game does for example. I always wanted to play this when I was young, but from what I've seen of Rome now, Robin Hood seems to me to be the better game.Kus of the Valleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06934962993210684339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-77434768868171776682019-04-16T01:32:10.436+10:002019-04-16T01:32:10.436+10:00This comment has been removed by the author.Charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04398371158920699604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-7258731367419845212019-04-14T03:52:35.230+10:002019-04-14T03:52:35.230+10:00The Albion reference is pretty silly, particularly...The Albion reference is pretty silly, particularly since this is a British game. I'm guessing it's meant to be a tongue in cheek reference which doesn't really land. It's one of those words which is known in the UK as roughly being the land, but not much more before then. So claiming it's a deity would just be half-accepted.

BTW, "crikey" is also a bit of British slang - not just Australian! It's the kind of thing you see particularly in kids comics. It's fallen a bit out of favour, but you did use to see it everywhere in gaming magazines during the 80s and 90s here.Deanohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17030651394605861730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-77712337310179077222019-04-13T05:50:02.328+10:002019-04-13T05:50:02.328+10:00Yeah, I'm not buying that.
