We weren't sleeping well for a long time and jet lag would have killed us, but we still wanted to see places.

This turned out to be GREAT. This "forced" us to travel to places that we otherwise might have just skipped. We did the Canadian maritimes (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island), spent time in Montreal and Quebec City, Florida, Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, several cities in Ohio... Travel is a bit of our splurge. My wife teases me that I play old video games to not have to spend money on new ones. We also skipped things like cable TV to save up for trips.

One of those trips ended in St. Louis and of course there is no way we wouldn't want to explore the City Museum! As artsy people from far away, it's the #2 thing we know about in the city. (The first is the big arch thing...) We'd like to go back now that our son is older because he'd enjoy it, but it's a bit out of the way for us. I lived in STL for 16 years, and the City Museum is my very favorite thing about the place. Most of the rest of my favorites are bars and restaurants.Adam Thorntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06368676086759298705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-28062022027155192862022-03-14T09:36:47.826+11:002022-03-14T09:36:47.826+11:00I'm not going to go into detail and prefer if ...I'm not going to go into detail and prefer if no ones asks, but the world is a stressful place right now. Some of our loved ones may be suffering more than we realize. If you have the means, I hope you will consider donating to a suicide-prevention group such as this one: https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/donate/

In our case, the family member received help in time.Joe Pranevichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12997014242774219758noreply@blogger.com
