I keep imagining some kind of game contemporary to Kings Quest II with "dimensionally incorrect"graphics, like trees compressed down to a single line, or lakes accidentally slipping into the fourth dimension.Libluinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15524606710871977666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-80247611753469653972015-09-19T16:06:41.214+10:002015-09-19T16:06:41.214+10:00I agree with you, trogon, AGD's retelling of t...I agree with you, trogon, AGD's retelling of the KQ2 is made with love and care and it shows.Ilmari Jauhiainenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01655841880034965950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-30613151590710306922015-09-19T13:18:41.924+10:002015-09-19T13:18:41.924+10:00Unlike their relatively faithful remakes of KQ1 an...Unlike their relatively faithful remakes of KQ1 and KQ3, AGD's version of KQ2 is more like an alternate telling of the game, as it adds so many different elements to the plot and enriches characters so much that it can hardly be called a remake. For what it's worth, speaking as a fan of the series, I personally enjoyed AGD's version of KQ2 more than any other game in the original series.kitsunebihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16481456493097730055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-37204521221607118252015-06-23T14:30:23.616+10:002015-06-23T14:30:23.616+10:00Mathematically speaking, the first game is more li...Mathematically speaking, the first game is more like a "cosmic donut." If north wraps to south and east wraps to west, the world is a torus. In this game, north wraps to south but east and west don't connect, so you only have a cylinder.DialMforMarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05991827182885226471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-48873089746679447102014-01-08T17:47:08.762+11:002014-01-08T17:47:08.762+11:00Yeah. Throwing a bridle on a snake? Really? Oh well, still a fun and classic game. I personally thought the color scheme beyond the three doors was pretty cool, and gave that section an appropriately otherworldly feel.Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16946742995687817751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3387495443226852794.post-69507918658456525072012-05-31T12:37:31.367+10:002012-05-31T12:37:31.367+10:00While KQ2's graphics are notably better (or at...While KQ2's graphics are notably better (or at least better drawn, thanks to Mark Crowe), I agree it's not enough to bump them up a whole point. And saying 5.5 would just add confusion. But yeah, at the time, KQ2 looked WAY better than KQ1.Troyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15478039484730296757noreply@blogger.com
